The brief
Snowmedia Consulting wanted to launch a new apprenticeship scheme bringing together young creatives and employers who need help with their digital communications. I was asked to develop a brand identity that would sit alongside the existing Snowmedia aesthetic. Alongside this there was a requirement for a contemporary looking website, with live chat capability and the capacity to post apprenticeship vacancies and handle applications.
Logo design and branding
The logo mark was developed to integrate the A and P from the Apprenticeship Project, and at the same time be dynamic and forward-looking. The colours and typography were drawn from existing Snowmedia Consulting branding.
Website design
The website was designed and developed based on the Genesis platform. The home page was the biggest feature of the site, using full height sections to introduce the concept. Separate employer and apprentice pages provided specific information for those groups. The vacancies page allows for candidates to browse and search existing apprenticeships, while individual apprenticeships can be applied for using a file upload facility.
Marketing materials
I designed a range of print and digital collateral for marketing the project, including social media banners, flyers, brochures, a roll-up banner and business cards. These items were tied together using a striking ink cloud motif.
